Sandy Bray White

Sandy White, as many artists started as a child. She claims to have never grown out of her passion to express the world around her in photographs and paintings. Her passion for natural beauty is her inspiration as she renders vistas from the riparian corridors of the western US. Her frequent adventures into the canyons of the Colorado, Green, San Juan and other western rivers is reflected in her work.

White developed skills and a passion for  painting, photography, and pottery thru her years in high school. She continued her education at Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Arts. During summers off from school White worked as a whitewater rafting guide on the Colorado River. White and her family have floated sections of the Colorado River from Rocky Mountain National Park down thru the Grand Canyon, along with many other stretches on other rivers.
